CPU, GPU and ASIC roles
CPUs favour flexible general-purpose work, GPUs provide many parallel execution units, and ASICs implement a narrow function in dedicated silicon. Their relative performance changes with the algorithm, memory pattern and software quality.

Power, heat and reliability
Hash rate is only one input. Wall power, cooling, noise, component life, power-supply efficiency, network stability and maintenance all affect a real installation. Measurements should be taken at the wall under sustained load.

No CPU, GPU, ASIC, operating system or driver is currently confirmed for public QNV mining. The four-lane direction does not by itself establish which consumer or specialist hardware will be supported.
