Core miner functions

A miner normally manages work templates, nonces, threads or devices, validation, network communication, logs and performance counters. Exact features depend on the algorithm and whether mining is solo or coordinated through a pool.

CPU and GPU mining software

CPU and GPU miners use different execution paths, drivers and memory strategies. The presence of a generic CPU or GPU mining application does not prove compatibility with a specific network. Compatibility must come from an official algorithm and tested build.

Safe release signals

A credible release should identify its source, version, supported systems, checksums or signatures and known limitations. Quinvarium has not released a signed public miner, so there is no official QNV mining app to download.
