PoRA research: retain data and prove that it remains available.

The problem being studied

An archive needs to remain available for verification and recovery, not just occupy disk space. PoRA is being studied as a way to assign data for storage and periodically check its presence.

Research basis

Filecoin PoRep/PoSt is the reference family for storage-proof research. Filecoin consensus and economics do not become QNV rules. The specific QNV mechanism requires its own specification and tests.

Can I upload a file now?

No file-upload or recovery service is running here. No per-terabyte reward is established. Data storage is developed separately from the three mining algorithms and does not add a fourth algorithm.
